The Quality Assurance and Post-Completion teams manage hundreds to thousands of defects for DLP projects. The goal of the team is to close-out the defects as fast as possible to avoid costly disputes.

The previous practice of simply forwarding the defect list to subcontractors put the builder in a passive stance waiting for subcontractor feedback, dragging out close-out timelines. 

Now with Resolv Machine, the builder is back in the driver's seat, rapidly identifying clusters of similar defect descriptions and classifying them by defect type, building component impacted, condition observed, and hence their severity. From this view the builder can optimise the inspection route by further clustering by location, and prioritising the critical defects.
